I ran this race with a group of friends and turned it into a fun long weekend.
Parking for the expo was a bit of a pain, you could not park close by so there was a bit of a hilly walk. The expo was small but well planned out. My friends very easily upgraded to the Full while there. I am not that loony. Bib pickup was quick and easy, and there was a snow cone truck outside which was the highlight of my day!
We stayed at the host hotel and they provided a party bus to the start. There were tons of porta potties, and they had mylar blankets for us so we wouldn't freeze while we waited. They also had hot chocolate somewhere but I never went to look for it.
The race started on time and uphill which was a little surprising since the race is advertised as all down hill!
The scenery was amazing, the signage was spot on, including signs with funny sayings on them.
The water stops were on point and the volunteers were so cheerful.
The aid stations had plenty of Deep Blue for sore muscles but no vaseline for chafing. I know it's my job to have it on me, but when I asked they kept offering me the Deep Blue as an alternative which was a little frightening.
The finish line had amazing food... pizza and french toast and donut holes, but they ran out before most of my friends finished the full! Ugh!
Bling was gorgeous but the photo spots they set up were down a long flight of stairs! Yikes!
Overall a great race though and we all signed up for the Vegas race in 2019 already!

The packet pickup is at Dick's Sporting Goods at the South Park mall. The signage is never good but luckily they have it in the same area upstairs every year so it was easy for me to find.
Parking on race day is a breeze because it's a mall parking lot so there is plenty of space to be had.
The race starts in the road behind the mall and heads right into hilly Chatlotte. Half marathoners and 10k runners start together and then the 10k runners turn off to finish. The course is very well marked! We all finish together as well so the speedy runners of the half might pass you as you finish the 10k. Because of the half, the 10k runners have a very generous pace limit.
You finish back in the parking lot and this year there was a crazy amount of food and giveaways for the runners plus music. We stayed to cheer on the half marathoners and there was still plenty of food for them as well .
Very well run race and I hope to run it again in 2019, probably the half!

I have done a lot of Disney race weekends but this was my first Princess. I was registered for the challenge but I was injured so I only completed the 5k and 10k.
The expo was well run as usual, and challengers were given bib boards and a luggage tag which was a nice surprise.
Disney provides buses to the start if you stay on property, so travel was a breeze. The course is always well marked, and the time limit is generous. You get to run around the Boardwalk and it ends in EPCOT, as do all Disney races. The medal was gorgeous (Merida, who was also on the course!) and the food boxes are always on point. Disney flat out spoils you.
The buses are waiting to take you back to your hotel (if you are staying on property) and they are always super comfy and not too far a walk from the finish area.
There is always plenty of water stops and several character stops as well, although the lines are usually pretty long.
