UBHM marathon not only does an incredible job at making every single runner feel more than just their bib number, but the post race party with the bourbon distillery;s, burgoo, pizza and beer, included in your race entry, is SOOO Much fun!! I have told everyone I know that this is a MUST DO half marathon!!

This rain to this race was so bad, that my multi sport Garmin chest strap heart rate monitor died. I ran this race on a fractured foot and pulled peroneal tendon, and the rain didn't help. It started around mile 10, and only got worse. The rain was so bad, the photographers left, and most of us only got one or two picures, if any. Yeah, imagine a race where you have over 10,000 runners and people only have one or two pictures?? Plus it was never addressed by management or anything,

This was the last year of the race, and this is where I set my half marathon PR (1:53), so it has a special place in my heart. I miss this race, and the series has a special place in my heart. I think it was amazing for new and seasoned runners. Plus the post race amenities were AMAZING for the runners and the families and friends of runners!!

This was my redemption from the slow time of my first ever full marathon a year ago. I took significant amount of time off and actually enjoyed the race, much more. The cheering people along the course, really do a great job of keeping you motivated when you are exhausted. This is a special way to see our beautiful city. Plus all of the historic places that you get to see.

This was my first Warrior Dash and I had SOOOOOOO much fun!! I will say, I was EXHAUSTED at the finish, but enjoyed every minute of it. The post race beer was a nice touch. I also loved the fuzzy Viking hat!! This race is special to me, because it was in my first year as a runner. I do enjoy obstacle course racing!! It is so much fun!!
