If your looking for a Boston Qualifier that is flat and fast... This is your marathon. The finish line in Memorial Stadium is a great way to end the marathon with the announcer yelling out your name and finish time. Solid!

The biggest 8K in the world. The course runs through downtown, the crowds are amazing & go balls out! This is a Chicago staple. Just do it! I highly recommend this race. I love it!

This is a great way to end the fall racing season and the course is super fast & runs through the lower west side hood of Pilsen. Tons of Day of the Dead face painting by runners and locals in the community. The post race food is all authentic Mexican fare and it totally rules. Trophies are given out at the end of the race for top three finishers in each division. The trophies are a sight to behold. They are plastic skulls painted by students in local schools. I EARNED ONE & THEY'RE SO SOLID! I HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS RACE! Tip: IF you drive down to the race, get there a little early parking can fill up quickly.

This is the best marathon for first timers & racers wanting to get a PR or BQ. The overall experience is so emotional once you cross that finish line for the first time, or for myself in 2013 it was my third. The crowd is SO supportive & the crowds get bigger every year. This is my hometown marathon and it's my fall classic. I recommend this marathon to the highest marks. You wont be disappointed!

Lying just east of the front range of the Rocky Mountains and Longs Peak. When the race starts you see the mountains in the distance and the sun is rising and it's a beautiful morning. This is a point to point to point half and unfolds almost all downhill with a few rolling hills in the early miles. You run through Flanders and McIntosh Park. Lot's of nature & fresh air as most of this race is on paved trail. If your coming from a low elevation area, I recommend getting out a few days early to get used to the higher elevation. I highly recommend this race!
