This is a great way to end the fall racing season and the course is super fast & runs through the lower west side hood of Pilsen. Tons of Day of the Dead face painting by runners and locals in the community. The post race food is all authentic Mexican fare and it totally rules. Trophies are given out at the end of the race for top three finishers in each division. The trophies are a sight to behold. They are plastic skulls painted by students in local schools. I EARNED ONE & THEY'RE SO SOLID! I HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS RACE! Tip: IF you drive down to the race, get there a little early parking can fill up quickly.
