I was super excited to run my first Hot Chocolate race this year and thankfully that excitement didn't go away when I heard it went virtual due to covid restrictions. The amazing swag more than made up for the missed in person experience, I mean how can you beat chocolate?!?! When my swag arrived in the mail I was immediately impressed by the hoodie, it is high quality, looks amazing, and fits perfectly! I broke my cardinal rule of not wearing my finisher gear before I complete the race because it was just too cozy! The swag bag also contained two pieces of chocolate, two bags of hot cocoa mix, a bib, a sample of Nuun hydration, and an awesome medal that had a BONUS piece of chocolate! I am super excited to hopefully have an opportunity to run the HC Seattle in person next year as I've heard the expo and race experience are amazing.

Upon hearing of the Tony Banovich Roads, Tracks, and Trails Memorial Run I was immediately onboard to support this run as the Missoula Marathon and community are very special to me. I've participated in the Missoula Marathon race weekend every year since 2015 (excluding 2020 due to COVID) and I could think of no better way to give back to the running community of Missoula while honoring Tony's legacy. Each participant received a commemorative pin, courtesy of Ashworth Awards, with the “Tony Banovich Roads, Tracks, and Trails Memorial Run” logo and all proceeds from the $35 registration fee were donated directly to Run Wild Missoula. AfterShokz stepped up to provide all runners with a 15% discount and a chance to win a free pair of headphones. I am not sure if this will become an annual event, however if it does I would definitely love to travel to Missoula to run with the community in his honor.

Disclaimer: I received an entry to review as part of being a BibRave Pro. I was super impressed with the entire experience for this virtual race. I loved the fact that there was a chapter for most major cities and was pleasantly surprised there was a Spokane chapter. Knowing that a portion of the proceeds from this race went to help the LGBTQ+ organizations in my community was a huge plus! The swag was awesome- rainbow lense sunglasses, rainbow flag, comfy pullover, fabulous medal, super useful wristbands with zipper, and a fanny pack...what else can you ask for?!?! I look forward to running this race, hopefully in person, with my community in solidarity next year as well.

The Missoula Marathon has been my favorite race since the first year I ran it in 2015, I've ran it every year since. The local community is amazing and comes out to cheer on the runners. The swag, t-shirt and medals, are very high quality and have great designs. I wear my finisher shirts from this race more often than any others. The scenery is gorgeous, you cannot beat the views!

The Rock n Roll Las Vegas half marathon is so much fun from the expo to the finish line. The expo is the biggest and best I've experienced, so many great vendors and samples. The vibe at the expo gets you pumped up for the races ahead.
The half marathon begins on the Vegas strip before sunset and as you are making your turn back towards the strip, night begins to fall and the lights take your breath away. There is no feeling that can compare to running down the Strip at night with all of the gorgeous neon lights and masses of tourists cheering you on. Running through the Arts District and Fremont you still have great crowd support. The finish line is right in front of the Mirage volcano which is consistently erupting as runners cross the finish line. The roads are a bit rough, that is the only negative I have for the race. All in all, it is a must do for any runner.
