Upon hearing of the Tony Banovich Roads, Tracks, and Trails Memorial Run I was immediately onboard to support this run as the Missoula Marathon and community are very special to me. I've participated in the Missoula Marathon race weekend every year since 2015 (excluding 2020 due to COVID) and I could think of no better way to give back to the running community of Missoula while honoring Tony's legacy. Each participant received a commemorative pin, courtesy of Ashworth Awards, with the “Tony Banovich Roads, Tracks, and Trails Memorial Run” logo and all proceeds from the $35 registration fee were donated directly to Run Wild Missoula. AfterShokz stepped up to provide all runners with a 15% discount and a chance to win a free pair of headphones. I am not sure if this will become an annual event, however if it does I would definitely love to travel to Missoula to run with the community in his honor.
