I highly recommend the Hot Chocolate Denver 5k and 15k. Even though this race was virtual it was still a lot of gun with the swag. The race website was very clear on deadlines to sign up for the race in order to get your swag in time for race day.

The swag arrived on time and it was so cute. The jacket was great quality and the sizing was perfect. The medal was big and it opened up to put chocolate in. The big packages of hot chocolate were also a great touch.

I also enjoyed the virtual after party that was on Facebook. It was a fun interactive experience and they had tons of great prizes. I can't wait to participate in this in person race in 2020.

The Cookie Chase 5k is the first race in Denver since COVID. It was a fantastic experience after having so many months without races.

Colorado Runner put on a great race from start to finish. It began with the pre race email giving very detailed instructions about parking, packet pickup, mask requirements, and race start times.
They had plenty of space and signage to indicate social distancing.

The race began with staggered starts with 25 people per wave. It was easy to keep your distance and masks were required until you began running, and when you finished they asked you to put them back on. At the finish they had tables with tons of pre packaged cookies and medals. It was great that they had it that way for non contact. The cookie choices were amazing.

Lets talk about the swag. The shirt was awesome. True to size and awesome technical material. The medal was super cute too. The tshirt alone was worth the very reasonable race entry price.

Colorado Runner has always been a great race company. Their ability to pivot during these times and put on a very well organized race was great. I've run this race several years in a row and it never disappoints.

"The Best Virtual Summer Race"

With most races being canceled we've all had to rely on virtual races. What I love about the Colorado Trail Challenge is it expands over the summer. It's 486 miles total, the length of the Colorado trail. You have the option of doing the miles running, walking, hiking, or biking. It's a little bit of something to keep everyone active during the summer. You can pick where and how you do your miles. The Facebook group they set up was so encouraging and I even made new friends to do miles with.

The swag you get at the completion of the challenge is so sweet. Belong Designs created a beautiful shirt. The medal is 👌🏾. 3W races always throws in some extras, another reason why I love this race company.

If you are looking for a fun summer virtual challenge I highly recommend this one. Your race, your pace, where ever you want.

The Pumpkin Pie 5k/10k is such a fun race. I've run it every year for the past 5 years.
First off their race Tshirt are AWESOME. Super soft with the cutest designs. This race is super inexpensive compared to a lot of other Thanksgiving themed races. It's held at City park in Denver. It's awesome that you can park at the zoo or the Nature and Science museum. They have a two day packet pickup which is fantastic so you can avoid getting up super early to get your packet on race day . The 5k is one loop of the park and the 10k is two loops. It's a fast and flat course. Afterwards you get the coolest medal and a delicious piece of pumpkin pie with whip cream. If you're looking for a well run organized Thanksgiving themed race this is the one.

This was my first time running the Rock and Roll Denver 10k. I was very impressed with how well a race of this volume was managed. The expo was in a great area even though you had to pay for parking, there several places close by you could park at and walk. Lots of great vendors at the expo. I really liked the long sleeve tech t shirt super soft.

Race morning was an early start due to making sure I found parking. The emails were very detailed in taking public transportation, but I had time constraints so I drove. I parked a few blocks away and walked to the start line.

The winds were pretty rough during this race and it was a very chilly 40°. Once you got started though a lot of the downtown buildings shielded you from the wind. Such a fun way to see downtown Denver. At the of the race they gave warm blankets and yummy swag after which I really enjoyed . The medal was so neat. I will definitely do the half marathon next year. In highly recommend this race of your looking for a great atmosphere and course.
