This was my first time running the Rock and Roll Denver 10k. I was very impressed with how well a race of this volume was managed. The expo was in a great area even though you had to pay for parking, there several places close by you could park at and walk. Lots of great vendors at the expo. I really liked the long sleeve tech t shirt super soft.
Race morning was an early start due to making sure I found parking. The emails were very detailed in taking public transportation, but I had time constraints so I drove. I parked a few blocks away and walked to the start line.
The winds were pretty rough during this race and it was a very chilly 40°. Once you got started though a lot of the downtown buildings shielded you from the wind. Such a fun way to see downtown Denver. At the of the race they gave warm blankets and yummy swag after which I really enjoyed . The medal was so neat. I will definitely do the half marathon next year. In highly recommend this race of your looking for a great atmosphere and course.
