This race is amazing! The race director does an amazing job and its noticed. If you are from out of town check out the website there is so many fun things you can plan along with this race! The race is extremely well organized. The medals change every year and the swag does as well. Its very pretty but plan for the elements and the Hills! I have used this race as my spring marathon training course. After completing this race you will be able to conquer any race!

This course was flat and fast! If you are looking for a marathon in Georgia this is it. the Temperature is perfect for a southern marathon. I was very nervous the heat would get to us but we never had an issue. There was plenty of volunteers on the course and the scenery was absolutely beautiful. The race is smaller but its growing every year. The Medals were cool as well. Great destination race to check off.

Great Race! It gets demanding at times but the route is beautiful.
Take some extra time to park its not too bad just limited
It gets hilly but its not that bad however you finish on a downhill with a great kick and photo ops
the after party is great and they have cool towels with cheesy hats !

Great scenic race! it runs along the Greenway for most of the race. the time of year all the fall foliage is in full effect and perfect brisk temps made for a great race. the only time it got a little monotonous was at the turn around point for the marathon. a could of runners missed the check points but i had no issues. its a newer marathon that is growing every year.

Best managed race around! due to the fact its a border crossing they enforce the corrals flawlessly.
The bridge is a climb but you are distracted by the views
The Tunnel is hot remove layers if you can while in the tunnel
Indian Village is a party Do shots drink beers get a bloody Mary and don't forget to run thru the wall
Belle Isle is the most boring part of the course and the windiest.
Do gear check with warm cloths or you will be running back to your hotel
Its a fabulous race one of few that i repeat
