A great virtual race that involved the Strava community! I ended up running 11.6 miles in the 2 hour time limit. It was a great experience with awesome swag (picture above). I really enjoyed participating in the Strava community and giving/receiving messages of congratulations! Ethan Newberry put together an awesome global race!

A great race on a winding path through trees and trails at the Chippewa Nature Center. The t-shirt is very comfortable and the Age Group Awards were laser-etched wood carved medals! The pack was competitive and the race also offered a 5K. The race was very well organized and offered a post-race award potluck.

The Snow Moon Trail Race had three distances: 5K, 15K, and 25K. I ran the 5K and was able to obtain a spot from the waitlist. It was a great race through the snowy trees at night. The trails were lit by LED lights and the moon itself. It was a cold night, but wasn't very windy. The trails were solid ice, so my yak tracks came in handy! Overall it was a great race and I would definitely run it again!

Starting line was at the top of a large hill that overlooks the town of Frankfort, MI. The 5K was fast and the last mile was a straight stretch into downtown. The expo before and after the race was great, had a strong feeling of community, it was great to see so many people out supporting a smaller race! A great road race and weather was exceptional! The pack was fast and I was happy to hit a PR of 24:44!
