Basically this is a great race for your Chicago Marathon, Philly, or NYC tune-up. Dont run it as your "peak enjoy the experience, travel to for a vacation race" - - because it ain't anything special :) But it does get the job done if you are looking for the pre-marathon pulse check and dry run.
Like most folks said the expo was weak, the course was flat as a pancake, and absolutely no shade so depending on the weather can be a "baker" :) Shirts were very nice - - race management, 50/50, I had someone jump right in front of me at 11 and finish the race - - not sure what was going on there?! Overall, use it for a purpose, and it's perfect - - not for an "experience".

great race, great expo, great organization - not Chicago's best course - - I used to live there so I have run many :) It doesn't really showcase the best of the city - but i guess they leave that for Marathon day :) Overall a great race - super flat - - just have to watch for the humidity that time of year, it can suck ya :)
