So its on an adventure farm, so after the race their is lots to do including getting a pumpking, or apple cider donuts. The race itself hands out popcorn, candy corn and apple cider. The corn maize is pretty narrow with corn on it, making passing people hard. overall it's a lot of fun. Its a cotton t-shirt. I love the cotton shirts. It also has over 200 turns making it a challenge to get a good time, which is always fun.

So my friends had a Glo Run team. I haven't done too many of the runs just to enjoy the course. If you find a coupon and can register for $35 dollars its totally worth it. You get a flash light, glow sticks and a t-shirt. They have some snacks and beer at the finish line. You can be a runner who is timed, or a untimed runner or walker. I actually wanted to try to run and I had an easy time getting to the front. There was more glow features towards the end of the race but a few fun ones on the course. There was a dance party afterwards that was pretty epic. You can have your packet mailed to you so you don't have to pick it up. However race day packet pick up was a breeze. My one minor complaint. I kind of guessed where I needed to go from doing solider field, and the bears run and several other runs that started in a similar spot But the amount of people who could not find the start of the race was quite a few. Because no where on the website does it actually say besides solider field south lot, when it was actually McCormick parking lot. Overall I have not had that much fun at a race in a really long time.

I actually did the 1 mile. Not realizing it was more of a fun run for kids. The race its self is a family race. Its parents and children running. It was in walking distance from my moms house and I wanted to try to run a mile timed. Its been a while. I did notice the 10k course was 2 loops of the 5k course making it confusing to the people starting their 2nd lap when the 5k was finishing. for a small local race I thought they did a great job putting it on.

"yoga meets running"

I was slightly disappointed. It said 5k plus 90 min of yoga. the 5k was untimed. which they failed to mention online. the gear check was really bad. they put all the numbers together by 10s. so 220 was with 320 and 420. so when you went to pick up your stuff no one could find anyones bag and you had to walk back and find your own.
it was raining so that made yoga hard, but then the dj was more into being a dj then actually teaching yoga. which was fine since it was cold and wet, but on a nicer day I would if it would have actually been yoga.
also i paid 65 dollars and it came with nothing. no shirt, or visor or anything. I would have thought maybe a t-shirt or cheap medal at the end, or even a cheap mat, you got nada.
there were aid stations on the 5k course which was nice. but nothing when you finished, no banana, snack anything. I am guessing they didn't have any sponsers. I felt like this race had so much potential and while I had fun. they left out key components.
