I ran this race with my sister and my mom. It was a beautiful September day. My sister and I were training for a half marathon, so we ran the 10K, and my mom did the 5K. It was great that we could all participate at different distances.

There is no expo for this race. There is packet pickup at a local running store before the race, otherwise you can pick up the day of. You get a cool women's tech tee and some temporary tattoos in your race packet. The day of, you get a finishers metal when you finish the race, and on your race bib is a coupon for a finishers brownie! There is also a beer and mimosa garden if you like to finish off your run with that.

Before the race we did the pre-race yoga. It was a fun race warm up. There was also a cool backdrop up to take photos with. This race is all about women and it is so much fun!

The race is at Greenlake in Seattle and the 5K is one lap around the lake. The 10K was two laps around the lake. It is a really beautiful route so it doesn't feel that repetitive. There were a few water stops around the course.

It was a fun race and I would run it again. It is all about women and would be a fun race to run with girlfriends, family or both.
