This was my first official trail race. It was also the first year of this race. The trail was great. A little technical to keep things interesting. Only two aid stations on a 85 degree day so take water with you. The post race snacks were almost none. I believe they will be better next year. All in all fun and challenging and low key. Only about 100 runners total between the 5 and 13K runs.

This is a small race in Branson, MO (less then 150) It was billed as a run around Table Rock Lake. What it turned out to be was an out and back three times along a walking path beside the lake. You really never saw the lake as the path was covered by trees. Not even nice trees. I did PR at this race, but it was just boring.

This was my first full marathon and I could not have asked for a better experience. The weather was perfect and the race was exceptionally well organized. Plenty of aid stations and great crowd support. The course I thought was pretty flat, I live in the Ozarks so a minor hill or two is nothing special. Plenty of hotels near the start/finish line make getting to the race easy if you are coming in from out of town. I will defiantly run this one again.

This was my first half and it was a great experience. Bass Pro opens their doors for runners to hang out in and stay warm before the race. Plenty of aid stations and good crowd support for the area on a Sunday morning. The starting corals were a little hectic as the area was to small to really fit everyone. Long sleeve tech shirt and HUGE medal were plus. Already signed up for the 2015 full.

This run benefits C.A.R.E. to learn. Well organized and prize give away is outta this world! After race food is top notch and plentiful. The course is scenic and crowd support is pretty good too. There are some hills, but if you are use to running in the Ozarks they are no big deal. Parking at the O'Reilly center was a breeze. I will be running the 15K again in 2015
