This year the urbanathalon added the sprint course and i did that as my first ocr. I gotta say as a noob this was difficult and rewarding. The wall was one location i needed a massive boost on and i got it from the people that were there for just that reason. The wall was just wow a unmovable object blocking from the finish line.

You leave from parking lot A right in front of att park, pass in front of att park towards the embacardero. you hit the under construction obstacle and i really enjoyed going over plastic barriers. After you loop around the embarcadero and hit more obstacles. You do eventually end up going up the stairs at att park. climbing and jumping on top of pallets was fun too. My favorite was hopping over cars. it was loads of fun!

The ATT park stair climb killed my time; cause i really did not want to eat it so high up, so i went slow and methodical.

The wall will fall!

My main gripe: they ran out of bananas at the finish line. How do you run out of bananas? That is like a staple of post race refueling for me. oh wells beyond that it was a great first ocr experience.

Wear some gloves when you do this because hands and asphalt kinda hurts. DO THIS RACE!

I did a halloween race and I got to dress as batman and that was freaking incredible! I got to run through golden gate park. the course was through the dirt and muck of the park and was not too bad. it was more a trail run than a road race.

The expo and the after party was nice. there was a local dj with food like bananas and a t-shirt. even a costume contest. that was sweet. overall a small but fun race.

This was a race for the special olympics of norcal. The elevation was okay. There was nothing too insane or crazy hill climbs. The views on the other hand was incredible! From the start at the ferry buidling, fisherman's wharf, pier 39, along marina green to fort point it was very nice! i had the choice of finishing up with the 5k route or going the extra few miles and do the 12k. i choose to go further and go the 12k. So glad I did the view was amazing!!

This was my first race ever and I am glad I chose this as my first one. Great starting location and great scenery. Got to hang out at att park at the finish. This is the standard of how to do a race. You get a technical shirt, a bobble head and a medal.

Post race there was plenty of refueling stations and plenty of room to roam around the park and meet up with family and friends. Lots of sponsors. lot of booths with all kinds of awesome stuff and future races.

That is just incredible! DO THE RACE!!! It does not matter if you are a Giants fan or not this is a run to do!
