Amanda 's thoughts:

Race Entry Fees - They are commensurate with any other large race and the early bird pricing is very affordable.
Race Packet Pick-Up & Race Expo- Early pick-up is available at the Expo the day before the race. The Expo features some great shopping and there are plenty of volunteers there to answer any race day questions you may have. During the Expo there is a Kid's Marathon run on the track outside the Expo building, this is a must-visit race if you have kids interested in running.

Race Day - The race is on the Main Campus of The University of Toledo, so there is ample parking for each race participant and all volunteers. At the start of the race there is plenty of signage and help to find the bag drop and also the corral that you were assigned to. There are pacers within each corral that you can run with so you can PR at the races. A runners best friend on race morning is the porta potty and you'll find an abundance of them at the start line.

The race courses are all flat and fast and wind through the city of Toledo. Each race will have course changes for 2016.
There are water stations all over the course and even GU near the end of the marathon. The courses are all beautiful and feature some lovely areas of Toledo.

All of the races finish on the 50 yard line of The Glass Bowl, the football stadium on campus. The thrill of sprinting to the finish in the stadium is unlike any other I've experienced at a race. As you exit the stadium, you collect a finishers mug and head to the post-race celebration. With a band, free beer for the runners and some pretty amazing food, it is the best place to unwind and celebrate your PR.

This is one of the top BQ races in the country, so if you are looking to visit Boston, look no further than the Glass City Marathon.
