Love this race series! It's very well organized, the swag is great, and course and aid stations are great and the finish line food is so perfect for a wintery run. My only complaint about this event is that you have to go to packet pickup the day before the race and getting to downtown Seattle for that can be tricky. But overall, I'd definitely recommend the race, it's a great experience!

The Tacoma St. Paddy's Day Half Marathon is always a fun one because the course is great, the event directors do a really good job organizing, and there's always lots of fun costumes on the course! The course goes down Ruston Way and heads up into Tacoma and then finishes back downtown (with a hilly finish). Parking is generally easy to find. The medals and shirts are always great, too! Would definitely recommend. I usually bring the whole family down and the kids do the Kids Run, too.

I was on a girls trip to Arizona and decided to fit in this half marathon while we were there. The course was flat and relatively easy, but the aid stations were a little lacking. It was really hot the day of the race (80+ degrees) and there wasn't any electrolyte drinks at any of the aid stations (water only). For shorter distance, this would have been fine, but for a half marathon in that kind of heat, I was desperate for electrolytes. The finish line area was fun and there was entertainment and lots of vendors to wander around to. Overall, it was well organized, just wished the aid stations didn't leave me so thirsty!
