What a sad year with almost all races being Virtual. I had not planned on running this race but after all my other races were cancelled I figured running my hometown race with my closest friends would still be fun. We were allowed to run anywhere we wanted, but we figured to really get credit we would run the course which is very very hilly! We had friends who were running the full the next day so they came out to support us and created water stops and a finish line for us. It semi felt like a real race since we were running the true course. Medal was neat and loved the long sleeve hoodie for swag. Who doesn't like good swag!

This was my first time running a Marathon relay. We did a team of 4 so we each had to do 4 laps. The lap was hilly...more so than I was thinking. But each lap was only about 1.6 miles so I felt like the hills were doable. The crowd support was so much fun! I loved running through the main stretch of all the tents with people cheering. There was music playing and so much support. Then while you were not running you got to cheer on everyone else. The before and after hanging out was almost more fun than running. Loved the cool sweatshirt we got for our swag and the medal was super cool! Good places to park and plenty of food and drinks for us!

I was coming off a recovery when I ran this race. I had a massive blood clot February 2020 and was out of running for 10 weeks! I missed a half marathon and lots of small runs. So I decided to sign up for this because I could run anytime, anywhere, and it took the pressure off me to run for time. I just went out to have fun and took my time and took few min breaks when I needed them. The good thing about virtual racing is you can still have fun, still get fun race swag and medals, and still feel like you accomplished something big! This was my lonest run post recovery so I was super proud. We got swag super quickly too. We got a Zip up Jacket! Medal, and hot chocolate!!

I only ran this race because my whole training group was running. I had a half marathon the following weekend so I went out to have fun. This was my last longish run before my half. This is always a fun race because the course is fun and challenging. Crowd support is awesome! Love the atmosphere of this race. I love not having to travel, love that parking is easy, and I love seeing so many people I know along the way!

This was my first time traveling out of start to a Race. Plenty of hotels right by the start and finish of course! The EXPO was AMAZING! Best one I have ever seen by far. The Indy community everyone was so welcoming and supportive. I was running with the NF Endurance Team and we were able to experience the area before and after race. Plenty of things to do! I felt like I was part of something huge! The course was beautiful and I don't remember one spot where there was not people cheering! We got to see a lot of the area on the race, the crowds were loud and fun, the course was flat and fast which is the reason I got a 5 min PR! The after party was tons of fun. Just everything was very well run from start to finish!
