This was my first EVER 5k, as I am a new runner (less than 2 months).

From the time I first emailed the coordinator to the actual event, everyone was so responsive. Answered all my newbie questions, and made me feel good. Not once did I feel like I was any different then the fastest runner (and I was dead last 😆).

I love the fact that all the runners were super friendly, and helpful as well. The "experienced" runners really helped the newbies with encouraging words, tips/tricks and just overall support.

All of the volunteers were encouraging and supportive all the way through the course, before and after!

Definitely will be back next year, and hopefully will not be last.
