This race is more about the experience than the competition. The marathon course has many aid stations and entertainment all along the way. You get the opportunity to run through all of Walt Disney World theme parks. If you get to the parks at the right times, you may even get a chance to ride a ride. This year I stopped and rode Tower of terror in Hollywood studios around mile 23. The on the course entertainment includes a variety of character photo opportunities, movie clips on big screens, and for the last few miles a lot of people encouraging you onto the finish. If you like Disney and you enjoy running, or a very long walk, this is the event for you!
