My favorite race each year, and this has been a yearly tradition for quite a few years to do this on the morning of Thanksgiving Day. The tech long sleeve shirt is fantastic and will surely be one of your favorites too. The course itself is very flat and perfect for setting PRs if you can handle the cold November morning. Post race refreshments are one of the bests in my book. You receive the typical fruit and potato chips, but also Clif Bars, muffins, hot cocoa, and soup to warm you up after this endeavor.

This was my first half marathon and it was definitely a tough one! Like all NYRR races, aid stations were aplenty and there were even two Gatorade gel stations on the course. It was beautiful seeing the Verrazano bridge towards the end of the race. Perfect time of year for a half so expect cool running temps.
