I have done this race every year since the first year and it keeps getting better and better! The course, food, music, athlete gear and event production are second to none! Athletes have the option of a half marathon or a 10 miler, both starting and finishing from Fontainebleau State Park, running through Old Mandeville along Lake Pontchartrain and down the Tammany Trace. The post race party has tons of food, drink and music, with an awards ceremony. The course is flat and fast, with weather typically the best of the fall season in South La.
