No regard for customers. High heat and humidity day, we were promised 8 miles of shade. There was about 1 mile. Promised 10 water stops- there were 6, the water was hot, and more than one ran out of water. People were lied to which did not allow for people to prepare properly, resulting in many medical issues and emergencies along the course, and they did not have nearly enough medical staff along the course, and the staff that was there did not have the supplies necessary. I ended up donating my own supplies for people who needed salt immediately which, as a paying customer, is unacceptable. With days to go we were notified that there would be a drawbridge on the course and “too bad” if it messed up your time, when many people registered with the intent of getting proof of time for other races. Medals all had significant defects and when I crossed the finish line, the only things left were some ripped up bread, one half drank hot Pepsi, and some hot water and gatorade. These people have no business running races, and especially not in extreme conditions.
