This is one of my favorite race weekends. Taking place on scenic Bayshore Blvd and Davis Island, FL, you get a gorgeous view of the Tampa Bay (and you may spy some dolphins or pelicans!). The expo is stellar- possibly equal to Disney Marathon Weekend in quality and selection. The swag is great and the race shirts are some of my favorite as far as style and comfort. The ONLY thing to consider for this race is that February in Florida with the full sun on Bayshore can be HOT and this year was no exception. A handful of sprinklers were set up to cool runners off along the course, but there were fewer than promised which was a little disappointing. All said, I’m absolutely going to sign up for this race again!
