I absolutely loved this race! It was very well organized with water/electrolyte stations every mile. I wore my water bottle belt, but didn't even touch it. I contacted the organizers beforehand so I could train with the exact electrolyte drink and they even told me the specific flavor they would have. The scenery was great and there were so many people cheering us on, especially when we needed it during the last 10k.

The hills were intense. I trained on hills knowing this was a hilly course, but I didn't realize how difficult they would be. The last hill at mile 25.5 was a killer because you just want to finish at that point. However, I purposely want to run this race again, because I want to conquer those hills!

The only thing I didn't like was that I had to grab my own water bottle at the end, and look for the post race food. I don't blame the race organizers for this, I think the volunteers were just too busy talking instead of paying attention to the finishers.

Otherwise, I would highly recommend this race to others, and I will be doing it again. It was such a great experience!

This is by far my favorite race! So much so, I am going to run it again in 2022 since it didn't happen in 2021. I LOVED their race swag for all participants and for the finishers. The fueling stations were set up perfectly along with the whole setup of the race. It wasn't too big of a race nor too small. There were spectators almost throughout the whole course. There is one hill at 12.5 miles and the back end as a couple of rolling hills too. It's a great course and race to do!

This race was a lot of fun! It was through the beautiful hills of San Antonio with a country feel to it. The race starts early which is great for the hot summer days. The hills were difficult, but a great challenge. The race swag and post food are AWESOME!!! They include a shirt for signing up, a finisher shirt, medal, free photos of the race, CHEAP prices if you sign up that day or a few days after the race for the following year, and a BIG ad DELICIOUS post race brunch! My friend and I ran this race and plan to do it again this year!

I absolutely love doing this race! I try to do it every year whether it's the 5k, 10k or 13.1. I have actually done all 3 and one day will do the full marathon!

This race is very well organized and ran. I love the race swag, the flat course and the post race food. They have tons of filling post race food!!!! That is one of my favorite parts!! They also have plenty of water stops and people handing out chocolate milk an water at the end.

They also have FREE Race Photos!!!! I love getting these!

You will not be disappointed doing this race!

This is a great free race! I have done this race twice. It is kid friendly, flat and beautiful neat scenery! They also have great post race food, shirts and music. Like I said it's all FREEEEEEE too!!!

I did this race in 2016, when I was pregnant with my daughter and again in 2017 after having my daughter. My son ran it with me in 2016 and my daughter was pushed in 2017!
