This was my third year running the Hot Chocolate and it was super fun! I had most of my group in attendance which of course made it extra special!
The swag for this race is worth every penny!! The 3/4 zip jacket fits incredibly well! Every year the jackets get better and better.
The course is hilly but totally doable! Running through the streets of Dallas is adventurous! From the Naked Cowboy to the shots of Fireball this race is truly fun!
The chocolate provided afterward is the best reward EVER. I thoroughly enjoy running these races and look forward to doing so again!

Chicago was one of my most favorite races. I had run the Chicago RNR the year before and was truly looking forward to the marathon.
The race was very well organized throughout the entire experience. The emails and notifications leading up to the event were clear and concise. The expo was super amazing and one of the best expos I have ever attended. The course itself was simply beautiful and the crowd support was always on fire!! I especially loved being able to learn about the diversity of Chicago as we ran through the different neighborhoods.
I ran with Lungevity and helped raise support and awareness for lung cancer. Being an oncology nurse who treated many lung cancer patients, this was truly an emotional race for me. I’m incredibly thankful for the opportunity to have partnered with Lungevity!

The course is beautiful especially when running by the lake. The neighborhoods are crazy fun and the crowd support is one of the best!
This was my first marathon the year before and the weather was definitely a factor. The first time I ran it it was hot and windy. I had prepare for the heat experienced in 2016. The weather for 2017 was very different with rain and cooler temps. Despite the unfavorable weather, this race was still one of my favorites!!
