This was my 4th year in a row running an event at Glass City, and my second half marathon in a row here.

Overall, the moves made this year were great! Expo was open on Friday evening as well as Saturday (I visited both days). The 5K was moved to Saturday (also ran this with the family as a shakeout run).

It happened to be the 10th anniversary for the Owens Corning half marathon, which meant upgraded swag! We received a quarter zip (instead of tech shirt) which I've already worn twice and love!

Start line was changed this year due to construction in front of UT, but it felt more open at the start. Parking wasn't an issue if you read the campus map and looked at what streets were going to be closed. When we left around 1pm there were no issues getting out.

Plenty of aid stations for a half marathon stocked with water, Gatorade, and some had gel (marked by flags).

Overall, it was a great race and I look forward to running it for the third time in a row next year!

New this year for Glass City was the 5K was now on Saturday with it's own party! I ran this event with my family as a shakeout run for half marathon the following day.

My daughter had such a blast running with all the people and finishing on the 50 years line. She loved getting her own big medal and after party food and drink.

I look forward to running this event again next year.

Very well organized event. I worked the expo for 2 days for GCM and was able to meet a lot of other vendors/race ambassadors. Plenty of vendors available, even snagged a new pair of shoes while there.

This was the largest field of people I had ever run with, and it shows when you enter race day. Corrals are clearly marked and people are directing you where to go based on your bib. Plenty of course marshals out to make sure you knew where to head.

Some of the roads were a bit rough, but that's to be expected when running thru a downtown.

I'd run it again without question.
