I've done the Mississippi 7K in 2016 and 2018. While the weather was drastically different for the two years (Sunny and 55 vs Snow and 28), the fun of the race remains the same. GO St Louis is organized and well supported. The expo is always a good time with great vendors. The race prices are reasonable, and with metro accress to the race site, you don't need to worry about parking. The race shirts are a qualtiy you'll rarely find elsewhere, and pre and post race suuport is some of the best. Jackie Joyner Kersey sent us out this year. How can you ask for more?

Beginning and ending at a local running store, this is a great out and back course with a sweet downhill on the back half. With Irish music, beer, pancakes, doughnuts and camaraderie post- race, the Toolen family gets it right. There are no aid/water stations, but that's not unheard of in small races and there is PLENTY of post-race support. Participants get 15% off purchases.
