If you've run one of the major Salem Races, you've run this course. Out and back to the Willows, with a swing around Juniper Point. It's a course that works really well, and is always pretty. in 2018 it was especially nice, as Juniper Cove was iced over and shimmering blue at high tide.

The race organization is fantastic, with three early bib-pickup opportunities, the two days before the race at NERC in Beverly (which, admittedly, is a bit of a trek) and New Year's Eve at Tavern in the Square. The partnership with Tavern also shines through after the race, as this is one of the relatively few Salem races that includes an afterparty with an included beer!
