Ran this race in 2015 and arrived early for onsite packet pickup and because I was unfamiliar with the area and the parking options. Race started at 9am and I arrived at 7:30 am. I was able to park right across the street from the start at Lucus Oil for free on the street. There were also paid options for 5 and 10 bucks. Packet pickup took less than 5 minutes to get bib, 1/2 zip pull over, santa hat and beard. There were a few items for sale at the start to match the holiday theme but given that the temps were 53-55 at the start too hot for the hat and beard and really for the 1/2 zip for most of the race.

Start was easy with no true corals but with sections with pace per mile identified. Race course was ok, cookies and other snacks on the course and ok water placement. I wish they would ensure water near or close to snack stations especially cookies and/or candies. Dry cookies with no water = very dry mouth. Course is not bad with a few inclines and one steep area near the bike race course. Start and finish are in the same place with good options post finish and good snacks and after party.
