Cliff Hanger is a great race I do year after year. The route is always so beautiful and this year was no different along with amazing weather. The hills sneak up on you in this course but they aren't too bad. If you are a competitive runner there is a ton of competition at this race to push you to your max. After the race there are warm pancakes waiting for you which is always a bonus. The only down side is the area that we eat in is a little cramped and it takes forever to get awards going. But other wise it's a great race I plan on running year after year.

Being from Kansas City I wouldn't have wanted to run anywhere else for my first 26.2 trek! I thought this was a great course that really showed you how beautiful Kansas City really is. The course is challenging but that's part of the fun! There was great support along almost the full course and ample aid stations!

This was one of the fastest 5ks I have ever ran, it actually currently is holding my 5k PR. It seemed like every fast runner in town was out for this race and who can blame them with such amazing prizes! This was a very difficult 5k with rolling hills, it was defiantly a challenge but if you're ready to race some of the city's best this race is the one for you.

This is such a great race that takes you around Kansas City! It's challenging to say the least but you always feel accomplished when you cross that finish line! Waiting for you at then end is one of the best post race parties full of food and fresh pancakes! The only down side of this race is the lack of prizes. For most runners this isn't an issue but for the winners it's a bummer.
