I love the Chicago Marathon. Along the route there are spectators cheering you on the entire way! The atmosphere is electric! I would definately recommend staying in a local hotel overnight. I have ran the last 2 years and hope to run it every year from now on. A must do race for anyone who loves marathons.

I ran the 20 mile option for this race. There is a marathon, half marathon, and 20 mole option. It is 3 weeks before the Chicago Marathon so many people use this as a training run. When I ran it the weather was perfect and the scenery of the second half of the course is amazing. I like the long sleeve shirt we recieved for the race. The expo was not worth the time. Of course you have to pick up your packet, but do not plan on spending any more than about 10 minutes at the expo. Great race however.
