I did the Dopey challenge which was 4 consecutive days of running. I did the 5k, 10k, 13.1 and 26.2. The 5k and 10k are fun. I was a little disappointed in the amount of Disney characters for these two races. After all you pay for this experience. The third day for the half it was storming so they canceled the race. We stayed at a local hotel and myself and about 100 other runners ran around the resort just so we could say we earned our medals and at the end say we did the full challenge. The marathon was my first and I was very excited with the amount of characters on the course and the drink stations are great. Had gel and water. The elevation wasn't hard at all. It was great that Disney had numerous areas where people could watch and cheer the runners on. We ran through all of the parks and when I got to animal kingdom they allowed the runners to ride everest. I was the second ride of the day. The shirts they gave were all long sleeve. I would've preferred short sleeves due to the fact that I live in Florida and don't get to wear too many long sleeve shirts.

This was a great race if you love christmas. The course was lined with glow Sticks the entire way and christmas lights at random locations. There were a couple of inclines that gave a challenge. They offered plenty of food afterwards including hot chocolate and plenty of cookies. My kids loved the dancing christmas trees and they loved the kids race medals. I highly recommend this race, but sign up early because it will sell out.

What can I say I train on this course. I love the clay. There are only 2 clay trails like this in the world. If you are in the area you should make a trip to run this course. I'm not sure how much longer this course will remain since developments are in the making. Olympians from various countries live in the area and train on this course. You will be challenged with all of the hills. Oh I also forgot they had cookies at the finish line.

This was a great race for the whole family to attend. Plenty of entertainment for the kids pre race and post race. There was an abundance of volunteers assisting with parking and course direction. They gave everyone a glow in the dark necklace. The race was a nighttime race, so they did have the trail lined up with glow Sticks to help guide you. This is one of my favorite places to run in the area since the trail is clay and very forgiving on your knees. After crossing the finish line there was a very cool glow in the dark medal, plenty of water, apple cider, pumpkin spiced muffins, snacks and beer. That was all included in the registration. Additionally they had a bonfire with smores for purchase. A bluegrass band for live entertainment. Overall this was one of my favorite 5ks and would highly recommend it. There was just about 700 people running. After the race they had a free kids race and all of my kids ran it and all received medals. The volunteers were awesome in cheering on all the kids including my 18 month old who ran the whole 100 yards to cross the finish line.
