The RBC Race for the Kids has 3 distances -- 5k, 7k, and 15k. I did the 5k. The 15k goes first, then the 7k, then the 5k. There is approximately 30 minutes between the 15k and 7k starts, and approximately 45 minutes between the 7k and 5k starts.

The RBC Race for the Kids has no entry fee, but you do need to raise a certain amount of money for youth mental health at Sunnybrook Hospital.

This is the first year I've participated in this particular race. so I was not sure what to expect, but I was very impressed. Everything was very well organized. There was plenty of volunteers. Race kit pickup was easy, even on race day morning. You got a tech t-shirt with your race kit. There was plenty of food available before and after the race. The water stations were well stocked, even near the end. There were photographers on the course, as well as at the finish. Names of finishers were called as they crossed the finish line. There were plenty of people handing out the finisher medals. The after-party was a lot of fun as well.

This is a race for all ages and abilities. Whether you're a runner or a walker or a little of both, this is a great race to do. Everyone is welcome, even canine participants.

I was very impressed with all aspects of this race. I will definitely do this race again.
