In 2010, I completed the Disneyland Half Marathon. It was my first time to California, and Disneyland for that matter. I thought the race was really fantastic. In my opinion the Expo was very well organized and the least congested of any runDisney event I've ever been to. T
The corrals for the start were so much easier to line up in than in FL, too. Not only was the course through Disneyland and California Adventure, but also through the streets of CA. I was able to see the area outside of the Disney property, which was very cool- especially for someone who had never been to CA. I thought the course was great- I do not recall any major hills and remember it being pretty flat. There was water/gatorade at every mile.
I received a great tee and very nice medal. Once I finished they also had tons of food and beverages to rehydrate/refuel.
Overall I thought it was a great experience. It's a great run with great photo opportunities and a once in a lifetime experience.
