I would like to say before this race I did not consider myself to be an actual runner. Many might say I am still not a runner, but for all the hills that I ran down or managed to crawl up, I now consider myself to be a runner. This course is a UNIQUE experience, the Country Side is Gorgeous, this race envelopes all of your senses: Smell, Sight, Touch ... Amazing!!! I would recommend Everyone experience this race. The Volunteers ARE Above GREAT!!! The Organizers are KIND and PATIENT and want Everyone to Complete the Course!!! Bravo Amish Country!!! Bravo!!! Plus You Get Cheese!!!! The Medal is Fabulous!!! My Goal was 4 Hours, I finished in 3:59 59. This was 4th Half this year & by far the most difficult.

After my first Half Marathon (Disney Princess) I swore I would never again run a Half Marathon. I am a AVID/OBSESSIVE Football Enthusiast, as soon as I saw the Pro Football Half, I changed my mind. They have a In-Training Training Running Group. (the Shirts run WAY too SMALL) I was not able to participate in the training group. You have the opportunity to purchase a training plan. The Facebook page for this group is Excellent, pre race planning, thoughts, ideas, giving press to their sponsors. The Expo was throughout the Hall of Fame, (not sure that is the best way to show off the vendors) Not Enough Hotel space in Canton, Parking was a nice HIKE before/after the race. The family got to enjoy the Hall of Fame. The people running the race were friendly. The participants were Amazing...Love Football Fans. The SWAG OVER the Top Amazing...I love my blanket, my medal and my Shirt...I love the Shirt...love love love the shirt. The long slow grade the last 3 miles was difficult. I love this race and look forward to 2015.
