I had a really great time as this was my first Ragnar. A group of friends and I flew out from Chicago to do it. Doing a Ragnar is such a unique experience that I would recommend to anyone interested in doing one. I think Ragnar does a pretty good job of how runners can stay safe without shutting down the roads (they make all teams attend a safety meeting before they start). "Packet pick-up" is really easy and you do it by which van you are in. It is really important to communicate with your van, but also the other van so exchanges can be handled properly. Use the Ragnar guide to keep you going throughout the relay race. It is a very important book. The course itself is very scenic, but also pretty hilly. I felt marathon sore after doing this Ragnar, but I loved it. The post race party in Provincetown is a lot of fun.

I was a little nervous about this race because it would be the first 5K I actually ran. I had a great time seeing people dressed up in their best 70's clothing and hair styles. Fleet Feet did a really nice job with packet pick-up and course management. I would recommend it for anyone looking for a fun or competitive race. It is also hard to beat the price of the race. Part of the reason I had never done a 5K is because some of them can get pretty expensive for running a few miles.
