Another newcomer to the Half Marathon, but one who’s Full Marathon event appeared on the 2017 Marathon list, the Garry Bjorklund Half Marathon carries and honors the Grandma’s Marathon tradition of excellence. The legendary support of the Duluth community has made this race a lottery-only entry, capping the field at 7,500 participants each year. Runners lucky enough to score a bib also get to enjoy the beautiful, flat course along Lake Superior. Capping off the event and festivities is the famous post-party that keeps the town partying all night!
