This was my first half marathon after taking a year off and it did not disappoint! I really loved the course. It was mostly run on paved trails with river views and it was relatively flat with a few rolling hills. Spokane is a beautiful city and this course was a great way of touring the trails and enjoying the scenery.

It was a relatively small race so you never felt too crowded on course, but there were enough runners to keep the spirit of the race alive.

The swag was awesome. The finisher's medal was huge and the long-sleeve technical tee was an extra bonus. There was also great food at the end. I loved that you could choose what you wanted from the local food trucks with the ticket included with your registration. My son and daughter loved the FREE ice cream at the finish! You also received free digital race photos .

I would definitely run this course again! It was a blast!
