Emily 's thoughts:

This race is billed as a "no frills" race. It is affordably priced and is one of the few early spring half marathons that you can find in northern New England. This is a point to point race that is mostly run on a flat bike path. Two waves of ~900 runners are offered.

Expo: None
Swag: None (no medal/shirt)
Transportation: Great bus transportation to the starting line, and from the finish to a parking area
Packet pickup: Loved the easy race-day pickup
Course: Not super scenic, but a nice flat course
Other amenities: Chip timing, water stations, photography, port a potties. Also food/beer at the end.
Weather: Can be cold in early April, especially for Wave 1.

Overall, this is an understandably popular local option for a spring tuneup race.
