With this being a Fleet Feet event you can always expect the show to be well put on/managed and maintained.

They offered packet/bib pick up on race day which is always nice especially when it's hard to find time to make it to the store during workday hours. The pre race and post race atmosphere was extremely lively ( even for a mid week race!)

It is always great with theses themed races because there is a solid mix between competition and fun! There a solid group of participants who really get into the races theme and dress up!

My only complaint was that this race changed the course than the first year. It took place around the LP zoo and stayed on the inner park paths and avoided all the lake lining paths. While the limited non participant path interaction was nice there were a crazy amount of twists and sharp 180 degree turns that, for someone who was racing, was not ideal. I am a little bitter towards this race since these sharp turns forced me to twist my body in way that i don't normally do when running that fast and resulted in a injury. With my personal emotions put aside this is a great race with a great atmosphere and a great way to break up the week with a night time race!
