Nice local run, but quite hilly. Ample parking with real bathrooms (it's the little things), not just the standard porta potty line. Gorgeous course through the trail system in Greensboro. Part of the race is on roads with the racers heading down the middle of the road in the turn lane. A bit disconcerting to have all the cars on either side of you, but some folks shouted encouragement along the way. The race takes place in early fall as the leaves are starting to change. Always gorgeous along the trails in Greensboro!
Best part of the post race was the smoothie truck. Nothing like a smoothie after a half.
5k and half marathons have been in place for sometime. New full marathon option in 2016!
