I have been waiting for this race all year long, it was on the top of my bucket list for the 2015 season and it did not disappoint. Fleet Feet knows how to put on a very very well organized race. Packet pickup was quick and easy at the Old Town location.

The t-shirts this year were awesome! FF always does a good design.

The one thing about this race is getting to soldier field via CTA. It can be a bit of a walk from the Roosevelt red line if you are not expecting it. Other than that, everything was clearly labeled and sectioned off. Ample amounts of restrooms. The runners area was lively both pre and post race.

One of the coolest things that i have not seen at a race before was the timers on each corral. Letting it's runners know how long they had until that corral was closed.

It was a beautiful day out, sunny and no wind, which made running on LSD easy. LSD was shaded due to the time of day but once you turned onto the lake front path the sun started to beat down pretty hard.

The volunteers were energetic as always.

Finishing on the 50 has to take the cake of any race i have done in a long time. When you enter the stadium underground you are surround by darkness then all of a sudden...BOOM!!!....there's an opening and you can see the center of the field!!! it was SO COOL! A bit bummed that the mega ton wasn't on to see yourself running into the stadium. But, once you finished and you had to a moment to look around at the stadium it made the experience very memorable!

I can't wait to do this race again next year!!
