This was a great small local 5k! Part of the Cara circuit.

Besides running through a wall of rain for the entire race the course here was really nice for a suburb neighborhood area. There were some nice long straightaways, nice uphills and downhill. Enough to keep you from wishing it was over ( due to the rain )

We were lucky that the start/finish was at the high school which provided shelter for all runners before and after the race.

They offered free race day packet pickup which was very nice since we were coming from the city. We registered as a group so we got a discount on price.

The aid stations were unoccupied ( due to the rain and thunder I assume )

I would recommend this race 100% a great local treasure. Looking forward to doing it again next year.
