This was my first half marathon and it was spectacular. The crowd was exceptional and the weather was perfect. Starting in corrals is a great idea and since I started close to the back I was able to see the elite runners coming in to mile 12 as I passed mile 2. It was a sight to see. I was also able to get my picture taken with Meb when I rang the PR bell. This course is flat and fast. Running around the track is a feat as it doesn't seem to get any closer, but doing a lap of the famed Indianapolis Motor Speedway is worth the effort. The expo is quite large and there were many deals to be had. The after party was great and made it easy to find my family. I will be running this event for many years to come.
