The Triple Crown is a tradition in the Louisville community, and this was my first time running the 10k in several years. Packet pickup was held at Louisville Slugger Field, which is always cool to see. Volunteers kept the line moving quickly, and I was in and out!

Probably my favorite thing about this course was the route. It went all over downtown Louisville and a little in Butchertown. What I enjoyed most were the sections that were out-and-back, because I always love cheering on the people running in the opposite direction and spotting my friends! Another great thing about this race are the FREE race photos! Can't explain how much I appreciate that!

The finish line featured lots of good snacks (more than your standard banana!), photo opportunities, and of course, a nice, big medal.

This is definitely a race I'll continue to run!
