The Key West half was a great race. The temperature was perfect for the beginning of the race but towards the end things heated up. The wind along the sea course was very high which caused the water to spill over the breaking wall, but the runners pushed through and no one was sweeper away.

The course was flat with street inclines, one bridge at the turn around. Medical assistance vehicles drove along the course to ensure that runners could receive aid when needed. There where adequate restroom and port-a-potties along the course.

Due to Covid the water stations were cup-less which participants where informed through email as the race approached. The race management did an excellent job of keeping runners informed of updates and changes via email.

The swag and medal was a great representation of Key West big and bright. If your looking for a MLK weekend get away with a race as a bonus this the one.
