This was the first Indiana race I participated in. There are rolling hills and the course goes through neighborhoods and a state park. The scenery is stunning and accentuated due to the Fall season. I had no idea Indianapolis could be so beautiful.

The race was well organized and the volunteers were wonderful. Race day packet pickup was an option and parking for the race was accessible, easy and free.

The participant pool was smaller than races in other major cities, and the vibe was a bit more relaxing which I love. The course was well marked and the volunteers were great at directing runners when splits in the course were coming up.

I would recommend this race to any 50 state runner looking for an Indiana race.
