Go Girl -OKC is a great bang for your buck. It's one of the best priced half marathons in OKC for the amount of SWAG. In addition, the race has an uplifting and supportive vibe. I recommend this race to all of my lady friends especially if it is their first half marathon.

T-shirts/SWAG: A technical t-shirt along with a large finisher's medal and finisher's certificate. But my favorite is probably the wine glass that you can fill with a fruit smoothie after the race.

Aid Stations: Aid stations were pretty minimal and crowd support was minimal.

Course Scenery: The course takes you through some nice neighborhoods of downtown Oklahoma City. And since the course is pretty similar to the first section of the OKC Memorial Marathon, Go Girl could serve as a great tune up prior to the OKC Memorial. Also, the course is well marked.

Expo: The expo is okay but the expo after the race is pretty enjoyable.

Elevation: A pretty flat course expect for the last few miles. It's not so much the elevation as the wind. The first half of the race is running north and the second half is running south. On one portion of the race you are bound to get a pretty strong head wind and tail wind.

Parking: The event is small enough that finding parking in downtown OKC at 6am isn't really a problem.

It's a well organized, well managed event. They even offer a lot of email interaction with you after the race to encourage participation in future events and to get your feedback. The Go Girl Series truly wants to make the race an enjoyable event.
