What a great experience for such a small race in Waco. What was good about it?
1. Flat, flat, flat!
2. Parking right at start line as long as you arrive early
3. Supporting a great cause, local First Responders
4. Nice long sleeve tech shirt I will actually wear!
5. Start line had a huge American flag flying from two hoists
6. Bagpipes played at the start line
7. The best medal EVER! A fire truck with blinking lights (LED)

It did not affect me, so I have not rated the race on this but I had friends who were routed the wrong way by volunteers and ended up running just 11 miles. One placed in her age group based on her time, and this was rectified and she was given her place.

They said next year the medal will be an ambulance, and I may just have to go back again!

This race deserves to have many more runners on the course.
